1. General introduction - What is computer science?

2. Admission method

Admission is carried out via the following modes:

  • Mode 1 (TestAS): based on an entrance examination (TestAS) and regularly carried out in May every year. The admission quota of Mode 1 is up to 70% of each study

  • program. Applicants could submit valid TestAS certificates appropriate to applied study programs to substitute for the VGU entrance examination.

  • Mode 2 (High school Transcript): Selection based on the high school results of those who will graduate from Vietnamese high schools in the admission year.

  • Mode 3 (Direct admission): Direct admission for applicants having excellent academic achievements including provincial/national prizes or participation in international high school competitions.

  • Mode 4 (International high school degrees/certificates): Selection formality for applicants having recognized international high school diplomas (IBD, AS/A-Level, IGCSE, WACE…) or certificates of international aptitude tests (SAT, TestAS…).

  • Mode 5 (High school Graduation Exam): Selection based on the high school results of those who will graduate from Vietnamese high schools following blocks: A00/A01; D01/D03/D05/D07; V00/V02.

3. Skills required for Computer Science
